Membership Categories

Medical Practitioner

  • A) Diploma Level - Graduates of Medical Heilkunst from an approved or accredited educational institution, who are entitled to use the designation, DMH (Doctor of Medical Heilkunst).
  • B) Certificate Level - Graduates of a specific health discipline within Heilkunst, such as Dynamic Nutrition, Dynamic Blood Analysis or Dynamic Dental Health, from an approved or accredited educational institution, who are entitled to use the designation Certificate in Medical Heilkunst (CMH).

General

  • C) Graduate of a certificate study program in Heilkunst as it pertains to any other field of human endeavor from an approved educational institution.
  • D) Professional supporting – health care professionals wishing to support the aims and objectives of the CIHA.
  • E) Public supporting – members of the public wishing to support the aims and objectives of the C/IHA.

Student

  • F) Student - of Heilkunst at an accredited educational institution or engaged in self-study recognized by the CIHA.

Annual Membership Dues

The financial year is from 1 September to 31 August of the following year. Fees are due prior to 31 August for the subsequent year.

  • A) Diploma Level
    • $250 per year ($200 early bird)* by 15 July.
  • B) Certificate Level
    • $125 per year ($100 early bird)* by 15 July.
  • C) General Graduate
    • $25 per year
  • D) Professional Supporting Member
    • $50 per year
  • E) Public Supporting Member
    • $25 per year
  • F) Student Member
    • Free and automatic

Note: If you provide proof of membership in NUPATH for the year 2007-2008, a discount will be provided to you once it has been confirmed.

Pro Rata Membership: If you are just joining us, or rejoining us after an absence, as Category A or B, you may join at any time within the year on the basis of a pro rata fee of 1/10 of the annual fee for each month remaining in the year. [Ex. If you wish to join in March, you would pay 6 x 1/10 x annual fee] If you are within two months of the end of year date (31 August), you may pay the annual fee for the year coming up and become a member automatically at the date of payment. [Ex. If you wish to join on July 5 of a given year, you would simply pay the annual fee for the subsequent year, and become a member as of July 5.]

Professional Supporting Members (additional)

  • Free listing on the CIHA website with links to one’s own professional website.

Continued Heilkunst treatment

All diplomate medical practitioner members entitled to use the designation DMH must undertake a continuing Heilkunst treatment involving at minimum quarterly consultations with another DMH holder in good standing according to part 46. in the By-laws.

Continuing Education

All Medical Practitioner Members must achieve a certain number of CEU credits annually. These will be specified by the CEU committee and will normally consist of:

  • Attendance at Medical Heilkunst-related conferences, or completion of assignments based on study of recordings.
  • Attendance at C/IHA sponsored Practitioner Meetings, or completion of assessments based on audio tapings of such sessions.
  • Book reviews, articles and approved research on Heilkunst-related issues.
